No. That is the primary advantage of a nicheless design. The push-in wall fitting installs after the pool shell is finished, ensuring your lighting never dictates or delays the construction schedule.

Does it work with my automation system?

Yes. It is a Multi-Program light that is seamlessly compatible with Pentair, Jandy, and Hayward systems. No new controllers or system upgrades are required.

Do I need an electrician?

No. Our patented plug kit connects directly by hand to your existing low-voltage wiring. Please note: A compatible 12-15V AC transformer is required and sold separately.

Can the same light be used for a retrofit?

Yes. The exact same unit threads perfectly into any standard 1.5" return fitting, making it an ideal solution for both new builds and retrofit upgrades.

Is it certified for the US?

Yes. The lighting unit is fully C/UL/US certified (UL file E476341) and safely operates on low-voltage 12-15V AC.

How bright is it, and does it do color?
